Labor’s business seminars wrap up for the year with UI Tax Compliance

Idaho businesses and employers are invited to learn about unemployment insurance (UI) tax compliance from the Idaho Department of Labor during a free Zoom seminar on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. (MDT).

This is the last business seminar from the department for 2023.

UI Tax Compliance Program Supervisor Noelia Luna will present on new hire reporting, managing your tax rate and proper classification of wages.

“I encourage businesses to attend if they have questions on navigating through our online employer portal system, reporting requirements for UI Tax and clarification on the difference between an employee and independent contractor,” Luna said.
