Serve Idaho, the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism, is seeking applicants to serve a three-year term.
The commission is seeking representatives from the following areas:
- Business.
- Volunteer sector.
- A national service program.
- County or city government.
- Local labor organization.
- Expertise in the educational, training and development needs of youth, particularly disadvantaged youth.
Serve Idaho seeks applicants from across the state to fill the vacant positions. To learn more about commissioner requirements visit the Serve Idaho FAQs. All interested individuals should contact Renee Bade at renee.bade@labor.idaho.gov for application information. Applications must be submitted to Serve Idaho by Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, for consideration.
Serve Idaho, a division of the Idaho Department of Labor, encourages voluntary public service and volunteerism throughout the state. It administers Idaho’s National Service Program, AmeriCorps, provides technical assistance in volunteer management and celebrates the outstanding contributions of Idaho’s volunteers during the annual Idaho Philanthropy Day awards program.
