Survey Response Deadline – Oct. 22, 2021
The survey is not limited to federally funded construction projects and is seeking data for active building, heavy, highway and residential construction projects in all of Idaho’s metropolitan counties between Jan. 1, 2020, and Dec. 31, 2021.
The Davis Bacon and Related Acts directs the U.S. Department of Labor to set prevailing wage rates that reflect the actual wages and fringe benefits paid to construction workers in the county where the work takes place.
Full participation by Idaho contractors and interested parties will allow USDOL to establish accurate prevailing wages and create complete wage determinations, reducing the need for contractors to request additional classifications.
USDOL’s federal Wage & Hour Bureau will send notification letters and forms to interested parties and contractors known to the agency, however any Idaho contractors interested in providing data can take the survey online and do not need in invitation to participate.
Businesses interested in taking the survey online should visit https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/government-contracts/construction/surveys/wd10/form.
Oct. 21 is the deadline for all data submissions, online or otherwise.
Companies that have questions regarding the survey process and forms should contact Sylvia Lee at (415) 241-3540 or Rose Huynh at (415) 241-3539.
